What is the cheapest parking at Stansted?

Parking prices can vary depending on date, time, stay duration and product. However, the most affordable parking at Stansted tends to be our Park & Stay products, like Maple Manor Parking.

Is there free parking at Stansted Airport?

If you are looking to avoid paying any car park fees whilst you are away then you run the risk of your car being broken into / damaged. We always advise it is best to park in a secure car park.
For drop-off and pick-ups, there is a free facility located in the Mid Stay Car Park. Follow signs for 'Free Set Down'. There is also a 5-minute courtesy bus ride to and from the terminal forecourt (buses run every 10 minutes).

Will my car be safe at Stansted Airport?

Why do some car parks need me to leave my keys?

What's the difference between on-airport and off-airport Stansted car parks?

On-airport Stansted car parks are within the airport grounds, so transfers to the terminal are usually quick. Off-airport Stansted car parks are outside the airport grounds but won't be more than a few miles away. All offsite car parks have free regular transfers running to and from the terminals.

How long will I have to wait for the shuttle bus?

This depends on the park and ride car park you have booked. Some of the shuttles run on a continuous loop, others run on demand. Waiting times vary but should never be longer than 10-20 minutes. Please check the product page for more details.

What's meet and greet parking?

Meet and Greet parking at Stansted offers customers the ultimate parking experience and allows passengers to drop their car and keys off right at the terminal. The car is parked securely and returned back to meet you upon your return.

It's extremely convenient and great if you’re disabled, travelling with children, or have lots of luggage. You can simply walk to check-in while the rest is done for you.

If I have booked meet and greet parking at Stansted Airport, what do I do on the day?

The meet and greet parking process couldn’t be simpler. Below the arrival procedure is a telephone number for the Meet and Greet provider that you have booked. Call 20 minutes prior to your arrival at your airport terminal. Proceed to the pick-up point with your booking confirmation/reference. The parking attendant will take the car to a secure car park. Leaving you free to head to check-in.

If I have booked meet and greet parking at Stansted Airport, what do I do once I return from my trip?

As with your arrival, the chauffeurs will need 20 minutes notice to bring your car to the pick-up point. We advise that you call them once you have collected your luggage from the carousel to avoid having to wait for their arrival. Once you have met the driver, they will return your car and you will be able to drive home.

What if my flight back to Stansted is delayed and I overrun my parking time?

Don't worry, your car will still be safe until you return. When you arrive back at the airport car park, you can pay for the extra hours or days you exceed locally. Extra hours or days will be charged at the car park's gate rate.

How early should I arrive at Stansted for a Ryanair flight?

When you should arrive will depend on your airline and flight. We always recommend giving yourself as much time as possible to account for traffic and long queues at check-in. We recommend that you arrive at the airport at least 2 hours prior to the time of your departure.

What terminal is Ryanair at Stansted?

There is only one terminal at Stansted so just head to the airport, you can't go wrong.
